October 15 and 16 We worked through an interactive PowerPoint to help practice ordinal words. Next we used the letters a, m, s, r, t, n, and p to build words
October 7, 8, 9 Students completed an activity using the "Rr" sound. They also completed a web of the five senses.
September 30 and October 1 Two activities were completed in the lab this week. On the first one, students matched rhyming words to pictures of pets. On the second one, students reviewed the "Mm", "Ss", and "Aa" sounds.
September 23 & 24 Two activities were completed in the lab this week. The first one had them practicing the "M" and "S" sounds. The second activity required students to categorize objects by recognizing similarities.
September 17 & 18 Students played a game on the internet where they had to recognize a pattern and then find a match. September 10 & 11 Kindergarten classes visited the computer lab for the first time. They watched a PowerPoint about classroom rules. Next, they worked on an activity which required them to classify objects by size. The activity was made using Kidspiration 3. Students printed their pages to take home with them.
